From a Single Studio to Accra’s Fashion Training Institution
Afehyia Designs was founded with a simple but powerful belief: that Ghana has no shortage of creative talent — only a shortage of structured, practical training that turns that talent into a sustainable career.
Starting from a modest studio in Tesano, Accra, we set out to bridge that gap. We designed our programmes around what the industry actually demands — not just theory, but hands-on experience with real garments, real clients, and real deadlines. Class by class, student by student, Afehyia Designs grew.
Today, we are proud to be one of Accra’s most trusted fashion training institutions, with hundreds of graduates running their own labels, working with top designers, and building careers they are proud of — across Ghana and beyond.

You do not spend weeks watching before you start making. Every class is built around practical work — cutting, drafting, constructing, and finishing real garments from the very first session.
